221. Ambulation - Tactical Map functions, new Dev Blog by Eris Discordia - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I think this is a bloody brilliant idea that has _nothing_ to do with ambulation. There is no reason to tie it to ambulation. It can, and should, exist in the game without ambulation. Why was ambulation in the title of the Dev Blog? One feature I...

Edited by: War Fairy on 20/09/2007 18:42:20 Originally by: Amarria Black Yet said person producing from a BPO can accept a lower profit margin and undercut base cost for an inventor and still turn a profit. This is the underlying prob...

223. Slim percentage chance to invent a BPO - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Speaking as an inventor. The only way to release T2 BPOs would be to put them on the market. Sold by the same NPCs in the same locations as the T1 versions. Any releae of T2 BPO via invention would effectly kill invention except for BPO farmers....

Edited by: War Fairy on 14/09/2007 18:02:45 Originally by: Arana Tellen As far as I know scanning a mission in progress is extremely difficult. You are wrong. If you can get within 4 AU you can find anything in about 220 seconds. ...

228. The motives of the salvage thief. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Arana Tellen If you really want to stop them scanning you dont complete the mission and salvage with an ABing destroyer I use an eris + MWD + 8 salvagers and work on the large wrecks first, then again I have skills. That w...

229. LP Store blueprints - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Production limit is the max runs a single copy of the blueprint may be made with. For example the hurricane has a production limit of 15. This means you can only make up to a 15 run copy. No more. Production limit has _nothing_ to do with factory...

230. Local, Scanning, and Bumping - A Proposal - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
That's just stupid. A Large penalty for a small mistake is unbalanced. Plus there's the fact that fleets don't talk in local or corp. They use voice comms. Plus there's the fact that it's impossible to hide fleets anyways. Cynos show up on the st...

Originally by: Agent Li In real life, using your radio gives away your position. No what's the game balance reason? In RL is never an acceptable answer. Why do ships have a max speed? In RL that's impossible. In RL I would be able to...

I repeat: What's the logic behind talking giving away position? It eliminates any form of communication. That's a bad thing.
